Breaking News The Administration for Community Living (ACL) has announced the distribution of emergency funding dedicated to state Adult Protective Services programs. The federal register notice can be found here: https://www.federalregister.gov/public-inspection/2021-02091/program-application-instructions-for-adult-protective-services-funding with official publication on February 1, 2021. This first-ever funding dedicated to supporting state and local Adult Protective Services (APS) comes at a critical time for both programs and the older adults and people with disabilities they serve. The total amount of funding going to states is $93,880,000. NAPSA applauds ACL for going significantly above the minimum set in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021. NAPSA urges ACL and Congress to build on this limited emergency funding with ongoing, regular funding for APS.
