ACL has released a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to establish a cooperative agreement to operate a National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA). The NRCNA will provide training, technical assistance, and support to ACL discretionary grantee recipients and Senior Nutrition Program Title III-C network organizations in every state, territory, and the District of Columbia.
Applications are due on May 24, 2021.
The National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging supports the aging network, ACL Innovation in Nutrition grantees, and other Older Americans Act stakeholder organizations to leverage and strengthen Senior Nutrition Program Title III-C efforts across the nation, and works collaboratively with the Senior Nutrition Program network to promote the development of impactful, cost-effective and person-centered services that align with the purposes of the Older Americans Act. In this capacity, the NRCNA prepares the aging network’s nutrition programs to be ready, relevant, and sustainable during normal operations and times of emergency.
