Every year the nation celebrates Older Americans Month in May, recognizing the contributions of older adults in our communities. The theme for OAM 2021 is “Communities of Strength.” Older adults have built resilience and strength over their lives through successes, failures, joys, and difficulties. By sharing their stories and contributions, older adults inspire others and are part of building strong communities. This year’s theme echoes what we enjoy most about the art exhibition.
