Mark Your Calendar   The Art of Aging will go live on the AOASCC website at noon on May 3.   Plan to attend our virtual reception on May 27 as we celebrate the artists and announce the winners.

Why is the Art of Aging in May? Every year the nation celebrates Older Americans month in May, recognizing the contributions of older adults in our communities. The theme for OAM 2021 is “Communities of Strength.”  Older adults have built resilience and strength over their lives through successes, failures, joys, and difficulties. By sharing their stories and contributions, older adults inspire others and are part of building strong communities. This year’s theme echoes what we enjoy most about the art exhibition.  Our artists share their stories and amazing talent with us, bringing joy and inspiration to all who “walk” the halls.
