While both systems seek protection of victims of abuse from perpetrators, they have different roles, resources, and approaches to meeting the goal. This workshop will review research and current data to explore how the two systems can work together. Participants in the webinar will: Understand the roles and goals of the criminal justice system in cases of elder abuse. Recognize the potential of perpetrator and interagency coordination data in guiding the criminal justice system in assessing cases.
