Nursing Facility Advocacy 101: The Importance of the Care Plan Meeting When: September 23, 2021, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Attorney Julia Brown and Long-term Care Ombudsman, Mairead Painter, will provide an overview of the importance of actively participating in nursing home care plan meetings and how these meetings can be useful means by which to advocate for a resident under a conservatorship. They will also discuss how to engage the assistance of the Connecticut Long-Term Care Ombudsman’s Office to enhance your advocacy for your client.
