The Assumptions We Hold: Rethinking Commonly-Held Beliefs among Elder Justice Professionals 10/18/2022 @1:30 PM ET

Join AARP Connecticut and attendees from across the U.S. for a FREE virtual event on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. ET

This event, a collaboration between the Coalition for Elder Justice in Connecticut (CEJC) and AARP CT, will explore key areas of concern to anyone with a personal or professional interest in elder justice, from battling ageism and victimization by scammers to fostering better integration of the socially isolated into our communities. But rather than focus exclusively on the senior population, speakers will take a multigenerational perspective, examining how younger people, too, are targets of fraud and become socially isolated to the detriment of their health, for example. The discussion will also zero in on disparities in adoption of – and comfort with – technology among populations and how digital tools and technologies can be made more accessible to all.
