The National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) announces the posting of a new document, “What APS Reporters Need To Know,” on the NAPSA website. This document provides general information on the role of APS in investigations and addresses some of the common expectations of reporters. It may be used as a handout or posted to your state/region/county webpage. Or, you may choose to download the template which can then be modified to incorporate local policies or include instructions for reporting in your area. The NAPSA Membership Committee is responsible for the development of this document and hopes you find it helpful.
