Join the Network! NCAAA 2021-2024 Focal Point Applications now available! The North Central Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (NCAAA) invites organizations that serve older persons and their families to apply for designation as a community Focal Point. Focal Point sites are visible, recognized places where members of a community can find information and gain access to a full range of aging services. Select here for a list of our 2018-2021 partners. Every three to four years NCAAA solicits the addition of new Focal Points throughout the region and engages in the recertification of our current Focal Points as part of our Area Plan process. Designated focal point sites will: 1. become part of an information network; 2. be given local and regional recognition and publicity; and 3. visibly demonstrate their contribution to the community. Senior centers, social services departments, libraries, hospitals, and universities are some examples of organizations currently serving as Focal Points. We are always looking for new partners to help us broaden the availability of programs and services to our friends and neighbors. Please select here for a copy of the Application Overview and the corresponding Checklist. The Checklist is in PDF fillable format, but please be sure to rename and “save as” your document before sending it to us. These forms are posted on our website www.ncaaact.org If you would like a hard-copy mailed to you please send an email to: [email protected]g with “Focal Point” in the subject line. You may also select the FIND OUT MORE box below. Or, call Maureen McIntyre at (860) 724-6443 x 283, ask for a “Focal Point Application”, and leave your name, address, and the organization name.
