Wendell Wickersham, III, M.D. – Secretary Our Advisory Council participates by…. Helping us fulfill a mandate by the federal Older Americans Act; Joining 20–30 members who are representative of the North Central population of senior adults; Meeting on the 3rd Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., via ZOOM, a minimum of four (4) times per year; Lending experience and expertise on Standing Committees: Allocations; Nominating; and Program Review & Evaluation. We are excited for our Advisory Council this year, and particularly thank the leadership committee: Marc Goldstein [photo bottom left], Co-Chairperson ; Doug Engwall, Co-Chairperson [photo bottom right]; and C. Wendell Wickersham III , Secretary [photo top center]. Marc Goldstein was a professor of psychology for 33 years and department chair for 6 years at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). Marc is an bicyclist, amateur (ham) radio enthusiast and he enjoys writing political satire in his annual holiday newsletter. Doug Engwall is a deacon in the Episcopal Church and currently assigned to St. James in Farmington. Doug is also an emeritus professor of psychology at CCSU who has been unable to retire successfully for over 10 years. Dr. Wickersham III is a retired physician who enjoys volunteering and traveling, and his favorite ice cream which is “Adirondack Bear Claw”. Though we are disappointed that we won’t be able to get together this year again in person for our NCAAA Annual Meeting, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank these folks for their time, their support, their perseverance and their patience during this especially dynamic year.
