NCAAA Calls for Ideas for Programs that will Benefit Older Adults, Funding Available

Have an idea for a program that will benefit older adults in your community?
Every year, the North Central Area Agency on Aging (NCAAA) solicits proposals for programs that serve older persons (age 60 and older) and their families in the North Central CT region under Title III of the Older Americans Act;  categories B, D, and E. The funding process is now open and it’s entirely on-line! No more bulky paper applications! Please see our categories below:
Title III B funds are available for Supportive Services & programs at Senior Centers.  This funding umbrella encompasses the areas of Access, Legal, In-Home, Adult Day Care, Community Services, and Community Education/Counseling.
Title III D funds are used for Disease Prevention & Health Promotion activities. All interventions must be evidence-based and must meet the highest level of criteria set by the Administration on Aging (See sidebar).  And,
Title III E funds are used for Grandparents/Relatives raising children. Program services can include but are not limited to information and referral, assistance in gaining access to services, problem solving, and group or individual counseling.
Proposals are due no later than Friday March 19, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.
